How does Cuidado Amiga work?

A collaborative map with independent verification. Here is how each case is processed.

How does a case enter the map?

Anyone can report a case using the «+ Report a case» button.
The case enters pending state — it is not published automatically.
Three verified moderators review it independently.
To be approved, it needs at least one verifiable public source: a news article, an official report, or a record from a recognized organization.
If all three approve → it is published. If any one rejects → it is not published.
The published case always includes the link to the original source.

What information is published?

Full name of the aggressor
Date of the event
Country and city
Type of case (femicide / abuse / harassment)
Photo (only if publicly available)
Link to the verified source

What is NOT accepted?

Cases without a verifiable public source
Cases based solely on anonymous testimony without backing
Information about minors
Information that could put family members or witnesses at risk
Reports without a confirmed date

Who are the moderators?

Moderators are manually verified by the Cuidado Amiga team. Each one signs a code of conduct and works independently. Para ser moderadora podés enviar tu solicitud desde /unirse.

Privacy and data

We do not sell or monetize any personal data. All information published on the map comes from verified public sources. We do not store data from people reporting cases beyond what is necessary for the moderation process.
